Rancho Cucamonga: One Dead In Early Morning Crash

BadgeTransparentRancho Cucamonga – On September 6, 2017 at approximately 4:50 a.m., Firefighters and Police responded to a major crash at the intersection of Hermosa Avenue and 19th Street.

Two vehicles, a 2000 Kia Sephia and a 2012 Toyota Corolla were destroyed in a collision that killed a female driver, identified as Alma Garcia, 25, of Bloomington.

According to a press release from San Bernardino County Sheriff/Coroner’s office, Garcia was transported to San Antonio Regional Hospital with severe injuries where she was later pronounced deceased.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s and the identity of the driver of the Corolla, that was seriously injured in the crash, has not yet been revealed.

This is an active and ongoing investigation and more information will be released when made available.
